Emily and Ryan

I have known Ryan and his dear family for several years. I was the photographer for his senior trip to Australia, New Zealand, Fuji, and Hawaii! It was a hard job, but somebody had to do it! This was my first time to have the joy of meeting Emily. What a precious couple! They were so much fun to shoot, and I hope these portraits capture the sweet love between them. I am so looking forward to shooting their wedding with Deborah in May!

It was my joy to meet and have the opportunity to shoot a few pictures of this beautiful young senior. While at my niece's house for a birthday party, we took a few minutes to setup lighting in a bedroom and capture these.

Painting my Photography

I have a new love! This fall I traveled to the CPQ lab in Cleveland, TN, to attend a painting workshop taught by Vicky Smith. Her work is amazing, and she taught us how to use Photoshop and Corel X to paint our photography. It is so much fun to create
portraits, and then to paint them! I definitely hope my photography will continue in this direction! It also helped that these are the cutest children in the world!
